How my Mathematics class look from my perspective. Hahaha |
Holalalalalala! It's already the second of November! NOVEMBER! I don't remember the exact details of every thing that happened this week or the things I want to babble about this week. Hahaha
I will begin with Saturday, so it'll be 26th? Anyway, I had a Chemistry midterm then. I woke up late because I slept late. My mom woke me up at 7. Wait, I think I already babbled on this story, huh? What haven't I babbled about it? Okay, then... Sunday! Wait, no, Saturday. After I finished the exam, I felt like the week just ended. Actually, the week just ended for most part of the world, but not my place. Friday and Saturdays are weekends and I had the midterm on Saturday. Seriously, after finishing the exam, I feel like I was finished with the last class on Thursday and just about to go home and enjoy the weekend. Sadly, it was Saturday and Sunday, the first day of the week, is the next day. I thought, "Give me back my Friday!!!" When I came to school on Sunday and entered the classroom, I just wanna laze around and sleep. I didn't want to focus on the lesson (not that I focus much) and everything was hazy. I've already babbled about the 75 points? Hmmm... Okay, fine... What else?
Wednesday, my chemistry instructor distributed the midterm papers. When he distributed the papers and called out the names, he also announced their grades. A considerable amount of students got over 90% and that's good. I'm not gonna boast about my grade, it was 91.5%, but I'm going to babble about where I got it wrong. I lost 7.5 points in the multiple choice questions, so that makes it 3 multiple choices questions. The first one was really stupid. It was about significant figures. I only looked briefly at the number and see which has the least significant figures without actually looking at the numbers. I didn't bother to do calculation on that question (subtraction). Oh well, as usual, stupid mistakes XD. The second question where I got it wrong was about the correct name of a chemical compund. I just followed the pattern of the previous similar question, but I guess I was wrong. Oh well. And the third was the calculations question, I still don't get it. I lost 7.5 questions on the multiple choice questions. The other 1 point I lost was that I wrote the wrong figure. I forgot one zero or something. Oh well. Hahahaha I said "Oh well" a lot! But 91.5% is not bad, so I'm fine. My average increased by a percent. XD
Chemistry class on Thursday was the beginning of a new chapter or something and I just didn't feel like listening thoroughly to the instructor's teachings. I thought I will just read the book later at home and I ended up procrastinating. Hahaha so, instead of listening in class, I drew something instead. The picture below is what I drew in class. I'm not really sure if what I wrote are the formulas used in Chemistry or anything. XD I mean, I'm not sure of the symbol, like if d stood for density or small v stood for volume. Haha and of course,it's not perfect and I messed up alot! Like, the hand, the shoes, etc, etc. But it's been a while since I drew something of this quality, so I'm kinda glad.
And, I took a picture of the class. Those in distance are blurred. If it wasn't blurred, I wouldn't dare to post it here! Hahaha and yes, that's my bag. Could you imagine that I was slouching, my head on the table and took a picture sneakily? Well, you should be able to. XD
Yesterday, I got an email from the Japanese Club staff. The first meeting will be on Tuesday from 10-12 (They changed the 11 to 12). Yay, I'll be able to attend that! Yatta~ I'm still unsure as to what committee I should join. Maybe the event organizing and stuff? Yea, maybe. Wait, I'll have a look at the file, again.
The first one is Media Committee and it listed activites such as, advertising the club and its events, photography and making contacts with different mass media. "Making contacts" I was horrified with that. I'm not good in making contacts, socializing and such and so I thought, "Nope, no way."
The second one is Organizing Committee and the activites are events planning and events supervising. Planning? I'm not good in planning. I mean, I'm not sure if I'll be able to, but then again I immediately of the chief in the group. Of course I won't be the mastermind behind the whole planning. As a freshmen, I'll only partake and help out, right? Right?! So, I thought, "Okay, this will be okay..."
The third one is Design Committee and its activites is design posters, brochures and role ups. This is my second choice, but then I thought that I don't have good materials to help the design and such and it's not like I'm any good in design, so... I dropped this option. XD
The fourth one is External Relations Committee and its activites are to handle visitors from Japan and managae the exterior relations of the club with any organizations or institute. This is also making contacts, so I immediately thought that I absolutely won't do this. Hahaha meeting Japanese visitors would be cool though!
So, I decided on the second one. I hope I'll be able to be of some help to the club and the committee!! Yoroshiku onegaishimasu!
The message that was sent to me from the club! |
