25/04/2016 Titled as Untitled Ti- No, K-Drama

Yo, I haven't done this in quite a while, right? ...when was the last time I did a babble? Sometime in February? It isn't that long, right, given how I can just easily disappear for longer time. Hahaha but it does feel long because I have only been posting Mai's JMu-Chart posts. So, now, I do have a few things on my mind, but I'm not quite sure I can type all 'em out and make sense, really. But, let's try.
There are some facebook stuff that I have posted from Saturday. Not much, but still some materials for me to babble nonsensically.... wait, I think I just contradicted what I wrote in the above paragraph, that I'm not sure I can type what has been on my mind and make sense, and here I am talking about babbling nonsensically... Welp, whatever, I will just write whatever I want. Yes, I will. I will.

So, first comes the status I wrote.

I have been watching historical K-dramas as of late. What KDramas I have watched this 2016 so far? Let me check my Dramania history, first, okay. .... So I have:
  1. Hwajung (complete)
  2. The King's Face (episode 1+2)
  3. Splash Splash Love (complete)
  4. The Legend (complete)
  5. Merchant Kim Man Doek (episode 1 + 30)
  6. Iljimae (complete)
  7. Queen Seon Deok (complete)
     So I have completed 4 historical K-dramas? That's cool.

Dan-Bi and King Sejong
Splash Splash Love wasn't really that good. While the concept of the plot in itself is great, but the actress was HORRIBURU. Really. What kind of personality is the female main character is supposed to be? Such a waste of a time travelling plot. Ugh! Yes, the plot is centered on the female character having time travelled to the time when King Sejong of Joseon, the fourth king of Joseon, has just begun his era of reign. I have never watched a drama with him being the king, but... well, overall, it was okay and main female character's personality is just horrible and the story itself needs more precision, not in terms of historical accuracy because I, myself, only a little about Korea history.

Sujini, Damdeok & Kiha
Then, next! The Legend. I was doubtful at first, but ended up loving it!!! Of course it isn't much on the top of my list, but I still love it. It's mythical, but great.

The plot is about the son of god who were sent to earth to settle down all the fighting done by human and he, in the midst of war, fell in love with a woman who is the leader of her clan and has a caring personality. They got together, but another woman who is the leader of the powerhouse clan who is leading in the war and killing everyone to expand and defend their territory. She was approached with care by the descended-from-heaven son of god and fell in love with him. She was burned with jealousy and betrayal when she knew that he was marrying a human woman when she was about to just give up on all of the fighting and have her clan and herself submit to him. She took her clan enraged to attack on the son of a god's wife and kidnapped her baby. The wife trailed her and they confronted each other. The jealous woman threw the baby of the cliff and the wife was so sad that she became enraged firey phoenix. The son of the god saved his baby, but the wife was already unable to regain her healthy mind, so he had to shoot her dead, and he decided to return to the heaven again, admitting his mistake of having fallen in love with a human woman, but he left some items for when the enraged phoenix is revived, earth can be safe and that he predicted that when something is signaled on the sky, then his reincarnation will rule the earth in peace with glory. I think the baby survived and was entrusted to someone trustworthy and the evil woman jumped the cliff and died.

That's only the beginning though. The main story comes after. The reincarnations of the demi-god, the protagonist woman and the antagonist woman. There are a lot of twists, really. The reincarnations of the two women apparently turned out to be full sisters by blood. On the night that that what was predicted happened, the evil clan and the clan that is supposed to be in charge of protecting the items went around the country to, the former take the child and foster them to be their subject or was it to kill them? the latter to protect them. Anyhow, the destined baby, the reincarnation of the demi-god's birth happened outside of their knowledge and was able to live in, but as the son of the brother of the king. When the king died and the brother and him was summoned, the king said that he will be the one taking on the glorious legacy, so when his father take up the crown, his father became a target. I think there is something I'm missing. The other main male character... What was his mother relation to the king? I forgot, but she was so adamant that her son is the one... Then she died and dragged the demi-god reincarnation in taking the blame, so her son became so hateful towards him, while before they were such good friends. Then... about the sisters, during that fated night, their mother was killed, but before she was killed, she trusted her youngest daughter to her oldest daughter. The oldest daughter hid her baby sister well. When the evil clan arrived, they took her after witnessing her fire prowess, but did not notice the hidden baby presence. The next day, the good clan noticed and took her in. The leader of the clan then wanted to kill her after realizing that she is the reincarnation of the enraged phoenix and thus can not survive, but one of the boy (who became the next leader) argued that he will take care of her and raise her well so she won't be evil, they were touched. Then many years to come, the oldest daughter was taken in by the evil clan and was raised as the reincarnation of the evil woman (and she was, yes), trained and sent for mission. She was sent to be a familiar presence in the palace, and yes, she succeeded, and she got close to the demi-god reincarnation, sincerely. She was sent to also be familiar with the antagonist main male character, and yes, she succeeded and he was smitten by her.

This is a lot to write, really. Should I make it shorter? The demi-god reincarnation fell in love with the evil woman reincarnation and so is she with him, and the antagonist male character also fell in love with her. The good woman reincarnation came into the story later on and became a subject of interest to the demi-god reincarnation. After a loooooooong time, the demi-god reincarnation fell in love with her and so she is. But before that, the evil woman reincarnation was pregnant with the demi-god reincarnation's son, but had to go separate ways with bitter sweet feelings due to the complicated situation. This separation only made the good woman reincarnation and the demi-god reincarnation closer, but due to a more complicated situation, had to separate ways and she ended up taking care of her sister's baby, unbeknownst by both her sister and her lover. Bla bla bla.... editted later!!! so, where waas I? The demi-god reincarnation kept looking for his beloved, but it took some years to finally find her and soon after he found her, the evil woman reincarnation just had to be deceived by the evil clan leader and tragically bled her own son to activate the heaven's power (?) but just in time, the demi-god reincarnation saved the situation and gave up himself to the heaven and he disappeared? I forgot how it ended, but I'm sure that the demi-god reincarnation disappeared, and I think the evil woman reincarnation died? Then, I'm not so sure about the good woman reincarnation, I think she lived on and raised the demi-god reincarnation and her sister's son.

LOL! Such an outline. *sweatdrops* Hahaha terrible, right? Bad labelling/naming too, right? Haha but the whole story was fun. It was such a ride. It has both the comedy and the tragedy.

Iljimae, Bong Soon, Eun Chae, Si Hoo, Gyeom
What did I watch after? Iljimae? Yeah, Iljimae.... Hmmm... I actually caught some episodes on TV, About two separate and different episodes, not consecutive, for sure. I thought that I'd try to give it a try- wait, I'd try to give it a chance. Yeah, that's a better way to phrase it. And I did. But it didn't become the drama that I'd love, love, but it was okay and nice, overall. I loved the last episode scene when the supposedly good-willed-but-became-an-antagonist character admitted that he is also the brother of the main character, Iljimae. "I'm also Lee Won-Ho's son." while trying to save his little brother from the swords of the enemy in the royal palace.

But there is something I'm confused with. So, Lee Won-Ho had a special relationship with the king and the king turns out to be the pathetic king who murdered his own son (referring to both Hwajung and Iljimae) because he felt they were endangering the crown that belonged to him when he still can possess it. So, basically, the king heard a prophecy that there will be two suns on the sky and that the other sun (not the king) will be highly praised by the people and he assumed that the second son was Lee Wong-Ho so he killed him, but turns out because he killed Lee Won-Ho and Lee Won-Ho's son witnessed it and swore revenge and became the second sun himself. Anyway, at the last episode when the king was forced to apologize to Lee Wong-Ho by Iljimae, he was sputtering about "brother". So, Lee Won-Ho is his brother? Biologically? I don't know.

Anyway, the last episode was great and made me want to watch more. I thought that the Return of Iljimae was a sequel, but apparently it was a different series. UGH!!! I thought that, since it has a sequel, let's watch Iljimae, but nooooooooooooooooooo~ :( Oh well.

Kang Joo-Sun, Hong Joo-Won, Prince Gwanghae, Princess Jeongmyeong, Prince Neungyang / King Injo, Kang In-Woo
I think I watched Hwajung early this year and not late last year... right? ...right. Hwajung was great too. It being lead by a female character boosted a lot. Then the misery of the main female character attracted me. A lot of twists here and there. If I start writing, then it might get longer than what I wrote for The Legend. Seriously! Hwajung even has more episodes and the eras of the first king in the series and then the second king is completely different. Related, yes, but still different.

So, first... It was the reign of the main character's father as the king. He did not have any legitimate son as the sons he had was from his consorts, but not his wives (the queen), but after a certain situation that made him run away from his castle, one of his illegitimate son spoke up to the civilians that the king is definitely not abandoning him. The king thought that that was arrogant of him to speak up as if he has some sort of authority or influence, but the king still made him the crown prince. Crown Prince Gwanghae lived his life under oppression by the king, as in he can't really show what his skills can accomplish because that would ridicule the king. Then the king got a queen and the queen was pregnant, but to their dismay, it was a princess. The young princess got close to Crown Prince Gwanghae, just like a younger sister to an older brother. Years later, the princess (the main character) got a full brother. The king desired for this brother to be the crown prince and replace Gwanghae, however anyway, it didn't happen. The king passed away after some subterfuges done by loyal followers of Crown Prince Gwanghae, everything they did was initially unbeknownst to Gwanghae, but he eventually find out in one way or another and despised them afterwards, but still respected them for taking such actions for his sake and believing in his abilities to rule excellently. Crown Prince Gwanghae then ascended to the throne and became a king after his father's death and in agreement with the queen, becoming queen dowager, that her children will be kept safe and harm shall not face them in the future. Despite Gwanghae has agreed on protecting her children, his followers kept on planning subterfuges to rid him of any potential danger. The prince then died tragically, princess jeonmyeong (the main character) was chased and ended up running away to Japan, while their mother was deposed. The ex-queen dowager harbored ill feelings towards Gwanghae for not keeping his promise and swore revenge, or at least, that Gwanghae will meet an ill-fated ending.

After several years, Princess Jeongmyeong returned to Joseon and while having a shred of wanting revenge, still trusted her dear older brother. She ended up trusting him again and was given her title back, as a royal princess. Wait... when she was in Japan, she disguised herself as a boy and returned to Joseon as a boy, only to reveal and act as a girl later when her identity as the royal princess was found out. Anyway, to her mother's dismay, she allied with him and agreed with most of his ideal. She helped him as he was not supported by a great deal of politicians, despite having very loyal subjects. A coup d'etat rose and was led by the son of an illegitimate son of Jeongmyeong's father, basically Gwanghae's and Jeongmyeong's step-brother's son. The coup d'etat succeeded and he gained the throne. Neungyang swore that he will be an ever better king than Gwanghae could ever have dreamed to be and that no one shall ever be able to ridicule him. He was depicted as pathetic in the drama, so of course I also see him as a pathetic king. His lineage even gets to be the royal heirs to the throne, the great kings afterwards were his direct descendants. Hufft.

In the drama, he was also depicted as caring for his citizens, but his feelings of wanting and keeping the throne while he is still able to (alive) is much stronger, so when the main female character, Princess Jeongmyeong challenged his ideals with hers and influenced the public, he sees her as a threat to his throne and countlessly tried to subdue her away and protect his throne. Situations, situations, situations... Then when there was a war, a Manchurian war, he fled from the castle and abandoned the capital city. I forgot what happened... And there was a second Manchurian war and Joseon lost and fell under the reign of the Mongol. The Crown Prince was taken and to stay in their land for a certain amount of time. And then short after he returned, the loyal subjects to the king went behind his back and poisoned the crown prince. The crown prince died. The grand prince then became the next crown prince. The previous crown prince loved his father very much and exactly because he does, he does not wish to engage in deception towards his father, the king, no matter how much his father dislike his ideals and thoughts. But, the second son, the next crown prince is more sensible, in a way that he is more careful and realistic in his action and words. What happened afterwards? I don't remember the exact details, but the next crown prince did ascend to throne. Was it by overthrowing the king or upon his death? I forgot... overthrowing, I think?

Princess Jeongmyeong retired from politics and went full-time with taking care of her family, her husband and children. The whole journey is from when Princess Jeongmyeong's little brother was a baby until she has some children. She even gave birth to a baby at the same day as the crown princess, the wife of the first son of the king (not Gwanghae), gave birth to her first. I loved this one because, one the tragedy, the feels, then the disguise and basically what comes as the storyline throughout the episodes.

Mishil, Deokman / Queen Seon Deok, Kim Yushin, Princess Cheonmyeong
The latest I watched was Queen Seon Deok. The drama is set during the three kingdom era, in Silla and underwent the reign of 4 Silla rulers. It has two notable eras, first the era of Lady Mishil having great authority in Silla and then the second is Deokman as Queen and her reigning era accompanied by the coup devised by Lady Mishil's and the king (predecessor to Deokman's father as king)'s son. I also love this one because Deokman also disguise herself as a boy while searching for the Gukseon to tell her her identity. The tragedy is also cool and it's almost mythical! What's with the heaven's prediction and all.

Aaaahh... Should I try to lousily outline what happened during the drama?

So, first we have the Deokman's great-grandfather ruling Silla. He had great subjects, lead many successful battles and expanded Silla's frontier. A particular subject of him was Lady Mishil. She also had greatly contributed to King Jinheung's successful battles and became a consort of his. On the night of King Jinheung's death, before his death actually, he asked her to write his will, that his grandson, the crown prince, shall ascend to throne and rule and that she shall retreat to a temple to spend her life praying for his well-being in heaven, but Mishil hid elements of that order of the dying king, the part that she had to retreat to a temple. She went to the King Jinheung's son's, soon-to-be King Jinji, place and told him of the will. She said that if he wants to take the throne, he shall marry her. They made love that night and the next day he was made king. Then time later, Deokman's mother was pregnant with her and her twin... King Jinji refused to make Mishil as queen despite her protest and using their son so she can convince him. So, she abandoned the baby and revealed that King Jinji dared to not follow the will of King Jinheung, that he shall no longer be king and the addressed heir in the will shall succeed and become King of Silla. Deokman's mother overheard or saw Mishil's hwarang wearing makeup signifying that they are ready to sacrifice their lives for a cause they so believe in, and so she was hunted. The Gukseon helped her escape, but both had to be thrown over a cliff. Fortunately, both were saved by freeing themselves from the weight that, dragged them to the bottom of the sea, using King Jinheung's dagger, but that was not known to Mishil, nor her subjects. King Jinpyeong, Deokman's father, was made king and Mishil still desired to be Queen. On the day that the council has to decide on the queen, Deokman's mother returned and such sight was miraculous.

Months later, Deokman and Cheonmyeong was to born. Short before that, Mishil was informed that the Queen was pregnant to a twin... she was informed that when a royal entity who has ascended to throne, or about to, give birth to a female twin, no more boys can be born into the lineage. The twin was born to be both female. King Jinheung feared that Mishil will take advantage of that and that he shall no longer give her the power to bring destruction upon Silla if she has full authority to the throne, so King Jinheung sent his maid to run away and take care of the younger twin.  The maid, with rough hurdles, ran to the desert and Deokman grew up there, in a place where merchant station and trade. The assassin who was sent by Mishil found her and attempted to kill her and the maid (who was considered as mother by Deokman, is a mother to Deokman as far as she knows). Deokman succeeded in getting away from him, but her foster mother wasn't. She thought that her mother has perished. She went to Gyerim (where Silla is) in search for a name she knows, the Gukseon. During her journey, she met her twin sister and due to situations, also met Mishil. That time she didn't know that Princess Cheonmyeong was her twin sister, or that she has a twin sister, or that that the she-monk is her twin sister or Princess Cheonmyeong. Deokman was then given chance to go to the capital city as a hwarang trainee. Deokman encountered Mishil again as a hwarang trainee that when her team gets to win against Bojong's team, she gets to ask questions... questions, I think, if I'm not mistaken.

Her life as a hwarang trainee wasn't easy. She was given extra pressure by the leader- hihihi the guy who found out her gender and end up loving her later on in the story, Yushin!!! anyway, she tried hard and survived all the harsh training until one day the hwarang was sent to war. Deokman struggled real hard so she can survive and find the Gukseon so she can find out who she is actually. Deokman almost died and was injured heavily, but was found by Yushin. Then after the war, more hurdles were to come her way. As Yushin's father has lead the bait team victorious, he was given rewards and part of that was a status as a council member. Bojong thought that he should eliminate Yushin's father and Mishil opposed his plan, but it was already carried out. So, the assassin tried to hide, but he found Deokman instead, who was meeting Cheongmyeong in disguise as a monk but the assassin didn't know, so the assassin tried to put the blame to Deokman and divert attention from himself and Bojong. It was then that Deokman found out that the monk she has been secretly meeting is in fact Princess Cheongmyeong. There was one thing... hmmm... I forgot how exactly, but Deokman ended up working for Cheongmyeong and when Mishil tried to get Deokman to her side, she severed the trust and friendship Deokman's friends had in her... Deokman then become a person who would read a Latin book daily to Mishil. The latin book is actually Deokman's... during the process when Mishil tried to severe Deokman's ties with her friends, Mishil received a package from the assassin that she herself sent to kill the second twin (Deokman) and the maid (Sohwa). In the package, was Deokman's book and other stuff, as well as a letter from the assassin (Chilsook) saying that he was not able to kill them, but the maid has already been dead, or was it something else? I forgot, but something along that line. Deokman didn't know of the letter. Mishil didn't know that Sohwa was actually alive, but was in so much shock that she can't function normally and she was taken care by Chilsook who became blind when he attempted to kill Sohwa and Deokman. Anyway, even if Deokman read the Latin book to Mishil, she was actually sent on a mission to spy on Mishil by Princess Cheongmyeong. During one of the nights, Deokman found Mishil was drawing a painting of King Jinheung fighting a tiger with his small dagger, which then was in Deokman's possession. Deokman asked and Mishil said that that was King Jinheung dagger. Deokman then asked Cheonmyeong to find out about it, but didn't fully explain it. It was then and that was what triggered Cheonmyeong find out that she has a twin sister and that the dagger was given to her when she was handed to King Jinpyeong's maid to run away.

One situation leads to another and Deokman found it very hard to believe that she is actually a princess, and the twin baby that was sent away and abandoned in order to save the royal family. Mishil also found out about Deokman's real identity and tried to kill her. In the process, Deokman was sent away to hide, Deokman met Bidam and the Gukseon (the latter without knowing that he was actually the person she has been looking for to tell her her real identity), Yushin admitting that he like her and that he chose her, so that's why he is running away with her, and then they met with Princess Cheonmyeong and devised plans for Deokman to run away successfully, but in the process, when they were about to depart on a boat, Cheonmyeong was shot by an arrow and couldn't survive, thus perished. Deokman and the royal family were greatly saddened, as well as Alcheon (one of the hwarang elite, a hwarang team leader) who demonstrated in front of the king's palace in order to beg that Princess Cheonmyeong can not be concluded in such way. Deokman was hit by a resolution and resolve that she shall get rid of Mishil and no more innocent lives shall perish just because she wants to be the queen. Deokman used Mishil ways to convince her being blessed by the heavens. The royal heaven maiden, wasn't it? Deokman demonstrated that Mishil's prediction there will be no solar eclipse was challenged by Deokman that there will actually be a solar eclipse. Deokman convinced the public that she holds the legitimacy despite her being a twin sister to Cheonmyeong, that she is also part of the sacred bone, the royal family. Deokman told her father, King Jinpyeong, that she came back and went against Cheonmyeong's wishes (for her to live a happy life like a normal woman) because she decided that Mishil can no longer oppress the civilians and people of Silla, that after having sent the newborn Deokman away so the royal family will not fall down, the king should have taken measures against Mishil's authority so that he won't have to abandon her for the second time like what has happened.

Deokman became a princess and gradually strengthened her authority and influence. During one of her quests of battling Mishil was when Cheonmyeong's son, Chunchu, tried to use Mishil by disguising his subterfuge as her making use of him, Chunchu was presented as a candidate to be the heir to throne and then Chunchu said that the whole sacred bone lineage ordeal is such a nonsense and has become a thing of past that in the current time it serves little to no purpose. Mishil presented Chunchu as a candidate to heir of the throne when Deokman declared that herself is to be the heir. These statements by Chunchu and Deokman has sent Mishil over the edge and went against what has restricted from going all out to gain what she desires, the queen seat and authority over the heavenly kingdom. It was then that Mishil took Bidam on a stroll by her favourite place. Chaos was all over the palace. Mishil's subjects were confused where Mishil has disappeared in the midst of a situation. The situation was that Bojong's daughter has disappeared and such cause for Seolwon (Bojong's father, Mishil's lover, Hwarang leader/military general) and Sejong (Hajong's father, Mishil's husband and Sangdaedung), but only for his daughter to appear the next day apparently has been married to Chunchu. One crucial fact, Bidam is the abandoned son of Mishil and King Jinji and he was taken care of by the Gukseon. After such stroll, Mishil had a new resolution, that she shall all she has in disposal to gain her the throne.

Bidam has inherited some traits from Mishil, that he is easy to jump into conclusions and decide to kill. The Gukseon was bewildered by a past accident when a hooligan in Goguryeo took his book and Bidam witnessed it, in the Gukseon's absence. Bidam then took poison with him and trailed the hooligan to his hideout. Bidam put poison in their drink and water and the whole population in that cave died. Bidam was not aware of his wrongdoing. That he shall not kill so easily. That he shall have compassion in regards to people's lives. The Gukseon was so bewildered that he couldn't revert back to his original self to take care of Bidam as a normal parent/mentor and instead he feared Bidam. At first, the Gukseon thought that Bidam was to become Deokman's partner and he shall receive all the glory, so he prepared the map of the three kingdom so that Silla can thrive in their quest. Bidam was so easily influenced and easily believe what was told to him. So, when he overheard the Gukseon that he was wrong and shall hand over the books to Yushin, Bidam was angered. He fought against Gukseon, but during the fight, the Gukseon was shot by a poison and died short after. The books were left behind when Bidam tried to get Gukseon to a physician so he can be healed, thus the books were taken by the person who shot poison to Gukseon. When Bidam found out the person, the person, a merchant with great infuence, said that he didn't share the same belief as the Gukseon, that the true owner of the book is not Yushin, but instead is Chunchu. Bidam asked the merchant to get him back the book, but when they arrive to where the book was hid at, Chunchu was there, crumpling papers of the book. Bidam was angered and he hit him repeatedly after covering him with blanket. Bidam then asked Chunchu to rearrange the book to its original state. That was how Chunchu and Bidam met. Way before that, Bidam has learnt that his mother is Mishil and that the Gukseon was preparing for Bidam means to great glory, that the Gukseon predicted that Bidam is Deokman's partner.

During Mishil's quest to get rid of Deokman and gain the throne, the king fell sick with a malady. Mishil took advantage of that and arranged a coup under the guise of some sort of reason that I forgot. Anyway, Mishil succeeded in gaining the authority of the throne while the King was hidden sick. Deokman spread the word that the King must be saved. One situation lead to another and Mishil was pushed out of the palace and Deokman succeeded in infiltrating and gaining back the palace. The king then passed away and the whole ordeal became a great civil war. One of the frontier's military group heard of Mishil's situation and tried to aid her, but was sent back by Mishil to guard Silla's borders. And Deokman tried to make a pact and agreement with Mishil that she shall make use of her and make her under Deokman's rule, so the whole war ends as Mishil has been cornered. Mishil disagreed. Before that, Deokman ran out of ideas to corner Mishil, she asked Bidam to retrieve something that she has hidden under a tree. She trusted Bidam so much, but Bidam peeked inside and found out its content. He was conflicted, and he went to Mishil's base and asked her why she sent him away that time during Mishil's quest to gain the authority of the throne, that perhaps she was wishing for his well-being, that she loved her son actually and was not able to abandon him for the second time, but Mishil denied and that she just sent him away so he shall not be a hindrance to her plans. Bidam wasn't able to tell her about the content of what Deokman has asked him to retrieve. The content was actually King Jinheung's order to kill Mishil upon his death. The order was given to Seolwon, who was the leader of hwarang back then. So, when Mishil refused the agreement that Deokman has proposed, Bidam told her about the order. That was what drove Mishil to give up the futile resistance against Deokman. Also, as Bidam returned to Deokman that night and said that there was nothing hidden near the tree, Deokman was suspicious of him and asked him questions and realized that he has lied to her. So, when Mishil gave up and passed away after drinking poison, Deokman found Bidam in the room where Mishil died with a poison that she herself has made her own self drink, Bidam had a saddened look. Deokman was curious as to why he would be in there so she sought out to him, asking him what is his relationship with Mishil. It was then that Bidam told her that Mishil is his biological mother. They hugged there, ugh.

After that, Deokman ascended to the throne and became a queen. She continued and instigated ways to improve Silla, economically, and unite the three kingdoms, Goguryeo, Silla and Baekje. Deokman made Yushin a general, Alcheon as her guards, Chunchu later with responsibilities of her heir, and Bidam with a committee that inspects all officials and apprehend them in case of corruption and wrongdoings. Bidam, still thinking that he will be the one with great glory, thought that he shall be powerful and use what his mother has left for him. He was easily influenced. He was greatly influenced by Seolwon's words that Mishil has died so that Bidam can continue her legacy. But all Bidam wanted was Deokman, and to be on her equal footing, thus gaining great glory. When misunderstandings caused subterfuges by the remaining Mishil's subjects, Bidam was manipulated and in one way, he came to conclusion that he shall dethrone Deokman to relieve Deokman from ordering Bidam to be killed due to situations. Bidam was manipulated to think that Deokman wanted him dead after his subjects was found out to have attempted revolution in his name, and Deokman asked him to go away for sometime to be safe. That was after Deokman has asked for him to marry her. Bidam was manipulated to believe that Deokman wanted him dead by his subjects (the merchant) so Bidam can go on with his plans of dethroning Deokman. It was already too late when Bidam found out that he was manipulated. All he could do was to tragically end the coup's and his life, but he shall meet her beforehand. He headed to her base and tried to get to her, but her guards wouldn't allow such danger, the person who was declared as an enemy to the state, to be near her. When he tried to get closer to her, he fought so hard and received many stabs and cuts all throughout his body. When he was just a few steps away, he was finally stabbed to death by Yushin. He then whispered, "Deokman... Deokman..." and died. It was indeed tragic. After Bidam fell down dead, Deokman also fell down to the ground because she has exerted all of her energy to save the nation from a revolution and she was diagnosed with a sickness. Days later, she was sitting on a cliff with Yushin guarding her. She said that her life was such a ride, that her being a queen has given her people to distrust, to trust, to love her and love back. Moments later, Deokman passed away.

At the end of the last episodes, Chunchu wasn't shown as a king. I don't know why. Though the next heir was mentioned to be Deokman's woman cousin on wiki, so I was looking forward who was to ascend to the throne after Deokman's death seeing that the next Queen was not mentioned in the drama AT ALL! Welp, the drama ended with Alcheon retiring as a sangdaedung and Yushin has won the war against Baekje and that next is Goguryeo.

The whole drama was such a thrill. ...I don't know though... I like Hwajung more just because it was the era after the three kingdom, the Joseon dynasty. But in Hwajung, the main male characters look less... buff? Hmm.. more like, some lanky popular actors, so less fitting for a historical drama? Well, something along the line. But Queen Seon Deok is definitely on my favourite list, but the very bottom of it.

WOAH!!! I lousily wrote a lot and it took me a very long time to finally be done with this all. All are lousy outline of the drama, right? Oh well.

And I thought I wouldn't write too much about the dramas and went on with some other stuff I had in mind on Sunday to talk about. Geh. Then I changed the title, and now it has became how it currently titled as.

     I'm tired.

     So, now... later~ ;)
