Hiya, here's top 25 of Mai's JMu-Weekly, 11th of April 2016 edition!
So, the actual first is SKE48's Chicken LINE for this 11th of April JMu-Weekly. Yay, yay. Hahaha at first it sounded weird. I first heard the song from the radio rip weeks before the release day. It sounded like a mix of Latin music sound and futuristic vibe. The MV was futuristic-ish too, but it doesn't really match with the Latin feel of the song sound. Then we have the lyrics and the weird title. Hahaha Chicken LINE. So, LINE the app and cowardly messages sent on the chat room but one side wanted the other to him/her directly, face-to-face. Weird combination. But I grew to like it later on. The dance is cool too. :)
Then we have aiko's Motto, AKB48's Kimi wa Melody and ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION's Re:Re:. Great songs, both are. Can I just copy what I wrote on the March 2016 edition of JMu-Monthly? Okay, here goes:
I also love aika's Motto. The piano tunes and the overall melody and singing is alluring. Did I describe it right? Hahaha
At first, I wasn't fascinated by Kimi wa Melody, but as time passed, I grew to like it so much, and the PV is helping, but I still not as fascinated with the live performances of it when compared to that of Green Flash, really
Then comes Sayuri's Sore wa Chiisana Hikari no Youna (I'm not referring to it according to the exact order, so I might be skipping some songs here and there and in-between) and ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION's Re:Re:. Both are theme songs, ending and opening, respectively to be exact, of Boku dake ga Inai Machi!!! Same story goes for both, at first when I was giving points and watching the YouTube channels, I didn't notice that it was actually used for Boku Dake ga Inai Machi songs, but I still like it and then found out later. Both are great songs la!!! <3The new ones in the chart would be Keyakizaka46's Silent Majority and Tokyo Performance Doll's GyakkouxRaisen. The former has that liberating feels, and as a Sakamichi group, the song is musically sophisticated and all those jazz on the production. Great visuals, liberating lyrics with meaningful meanings that relates to the current Japanese society situations, great performance, great production. All keyaki has to do now is to improve the individuality of each members and also the showbiz entertainment, or variety shows skills. Anyhow, the song is great, but sometimes, like most other Sakamichi group songs (refer to Nogi songs), I get tired of it easily as the trend of the sound is mostly very similar, but on its own, it is great. As for the latter, hmmm.. let's see... It has a fierce feel to it? Something like that. It's cool.
Then, I'm going to quote from the March 2016 edition of JMu-Monthly for ONE OK ROCK's Always coming back:
I loved Wherever you are, but got a tad tired of it, then I heard Always coming back and it sounded great, love it.Lastly, but not the least of the top 25 rank, Ketsumeishi's Tomo yo~ Kono Saki mo Zutto... and Negicco's Mujun, Hajimemashita. Fun, fun songs! The former is apparently a theme song for Shin Chan, but I'm currently not bothered to check about it. The latter is just fun-sounding. Rather eccentric, something like that? :D
And this is about it, I guess. Ja!
