A good place for relaxation. Yep. My shadow looks fat. XD |
So, school started. School started. School started. Agh. ._. I want some more time to waste and just laze around. Wait... That's not such a good idea, now is it? A change of pace should be good and as a friend mentioned that she'll be having a sweet revenge for herself, I think a sweet revenge will be very useful for me too. So... I'll consider taking more courses as a sweet revenge.
The add & drop period started a long time ago and I registered for General Chemistry II and its lab course, English II, Calculus I, Statistics I, and Analytical Chemistry I. Oh wait, there were some problem with registering for General Chemistry and its lab course, so I had to wait some time until someone dropped the course so there'll be a spot for me to get in to.
Last Sunday was the first day of the second semester. Sunday became the most busiest day in the week. In return, I have Monday offs and only one evening class on Wednesdays. Good plan, eh? General Chemistry II was the first class on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, at 9 pm and lasts for 45 or 50 minutes each. I couldn't make it for the class on Sunday and so I didn't know how the teacher was like. I made it on Tuesday and luckily my friend was in the same class. She told me nothing major was discussed on Sunday. Just some basic introduction into the course or something of sort. Anyway, I made it on Tuesday. The teacher seems... I don't know... Like a teacher, duh. Hahaha well, I will only say that I'll need to study and refer a lot to the book when she explains in class in order to understand the materials well. If I'm not being lazy or sleeping in class, that is.
Right after it was Analytical Chemistry I. I voluntarily took this upon myself, knowing that works will later pile up and all. "Sweet Revenge", remember? Hahaha so... I made it for the class on Sunday even though I was late. The first class was introduction, again. As for Tuesday, the second class... I... What was it about, again? I can't remember. It was just yesterday though!! :0 Anyway, the teacher seems cool. Not cool cool. Just okay cool. He's okay. I fell asleep in his class yesterday tho. I'm bad. XD
After that was the Calculus I class. Now, there were some problems about this concerning the teaching language. On the uni's online system thingie, it says the class will be taught in English, but when she sent a mail and it was in Arabic, I was wondering what was happening. I asked her if the class will be taught in Arabic or not and she replied, not long after, "mostly, yes." Even though I can understand Arabic (if I don't know the meaning of a word directly, I can make out the meaning of the sentence when the person continued talking), that'll be tough. I mean, what if I won't understand the materials? I want to understand as optimal as possible. And that's what I thought. Or maybe I'm just being a hypocrite and didn't want to change the class because it's troublesome. LOL whatever lah. So, anyway, the teacher told me to change classes... That was hard for me. If I change classes, it might clash with my other classes and so I will be giving up my Mondays off, but!!!!!!!!!! I found a Sunday-Tuesday-Thursday alternate class. I will still be having Mondays off, but I'll be going home at 5 pm on Sundays and Tuesdays and after 3 pm on Thursdays. But I guess it'll be okay, I'll be having some time off in between classes that I can just have break and relax. I'll have my first other class tomorrow. 0...0 I heard that the teacher is good and he does seems good in his work from what I can deduce from his posts on the uni's online system. He posted a lot of materials and it's only the first week. He also keeps good track of his student. Is he strict? I hope he's not too strict. I hope he's fun too~
The class after it is Statistics I. I was thinking of taking Statistics as a minor and I think I will be taking it as a minor. Aaaa~hh... Anyway, the teacher is a she and she seems pretty cool for an Arab woman. She mentioned that she studied Statistics in French. Hmmm..... She said to group up, 3 people in a group being the ideal, and so this is a good chance for me to socialize. Yeaaa...
Lastly, but not the least, English class. My friend said that the teacher might be her neighbour and mentioned that it might be awkward if they ran into each other back in the housing. XD Hahaha it will be awkward for me if I was in her shoes. The teacher seemed strict, but he's also fun. Yesterday, when he asked the class if their schedule is fixed and they won't be changing courses anymore, I raised my hand. He kept on lightly making fun of me during class. Jokes like, "She doesn't like us," or "She's betraying you." Hahahaha
The last class was not on Sundays nor Tuesdays nor Thursdays. It is on Wednesdays. It's the Experimental General Chemistry II course. I didn't know anyone in class. They were all new faces for me. The teacher seems nice and cool. He explained how iPad should be used in a better way and that it can provide many educational purposes to students and teachers. He showed the good apps. Of course, that's after he introduced the students to the course and assign everyone a partner in a random way. He called a few names and asked those whose name was called to come to the front and take a paper. The name written on the paper will be the partner. My partner seems nice. I think she'll be cool. I hope I won't be burdening her. I hope. I hope. I hope. I hope. I hope. I miss my previous partner though. Too bad she doesn't have to take anymore Chemistry classes. Aaaaahh~!
Lastly, tomorrow is the textbook collection day! I almost forgot. Gotta print! Well okay, I guess that's all for now.
Oh yeah!! I found AKB48 Summer Dome Tour 2013 Disc 7+8 video and downloaded it and converted it to mp3. Smart, eh? I guess I'll be talking about that next time. Okay? Okay...
