18/02/2016 The first week of sixth semester

The two ways that I usually go by to start these kind of babble journal-y posts are:

"I don't know what to say... I've been lazing around and forgetting the things that I wanted to babble blog about... Ugh..."

Or, "My next semester just started! Woot woot! Now that it just started, I feel up and around and optimistic to do my schoolwork and studies well. My plans are......."

Or a mix of two, really.
What I feel like right now is a little headache, but as usual, the first week wasn't bad. It was never that bad until I reach the second, fourth and so on weeks. If the second week was bad, that would be because I slipped up and lost the momentum that I should've gained in order to be in higher spirit for the rest of the semester. Something like, 'already screwed up in the beginning, how bad is the rest of the semester going to be, uuuuuuuuuuuuuugh.' Yeah, something like that. But, that just doesn't apply to the second week. Third week too. Sometimes I would feel refreshed during midterm break and when it's over, the refreshed feelings are still there, but soon wither away a tad too easily.

Usually, my new-semester babbles has my hopes. The last semester I listed my hopes, didn't I? I was trying not to, but ended up doing it anyway. Now, really, I will not list my hopes in the babbles. I will just my new small notebook for me to keep track of myself, and that's it. I will try to take it easy and hard at the same time. Let's see how this goes.

As for how the first week actually goes, it was okay for the most part. The first day, the first class of the semester was Physics 2. The professor is nice and fun-and-friendly looking. He was making a metaphor of the amount of money you are willing to pay for an airline ticket/seat. It was something along the line that if you are willing and do put in your effort, you'll get the grade that matches your effort, just like the money you pay and the seat you get for an airline trip. That was nice. The funny thing is that he actually showed several airline pages and the sort of services for each class that the airline provides. That was nice.
The bad thing for the first day is that I fell asleep in the Statistics 2 class. Hahaha really. That's so typical of me. But to prevent that in the future, I will first read the section that was going to- alright, that's some hope there. I better stop. I've got the plan in my head, and let's keep it that way.
I have two labs this semester, one chemistry course, one statistics, one physics, one law and finally one sociology. The law professor looks interactive though! I feel like wanting to read the textbook. The course, which is titled "Human Rights". sounds interesting. The same feelings I also have with Sociology. The professor also speaks interactively and very well spoken. Not just the professor, but the students too! There are several familiar faces. A one-year-upperclassman from high school, student/s from last semester Arabic course, my fellow chemistry majoring student, and who else? My friend that I haven't seen in a long time! Or haven't shared a class together since my first semester which is about two and a half semester ago. I was thrilled to see her again. That was a nice surprise. As for the other students in class, there was one from a different generation (pre-1990s), a student who speaks in an English accent, a student who took an example from a Japanese drama. I bet this would be my favourite class for the semester, despite it being an afternoon/evening class, and that I'll get to speak up here and there.
My chemistry courses this semester aren't much. The inorganic lab looks tough, but the instructor is fine. The same thing goes for the organic lab. Hahaha I'm taking both inorganic and organic lab. As for the inorganic (theory) classes, it is in similar situation as the statistics.

Today is a Thursday, which is the last school day of the week for me. I finish early, but mom will have to pick me up just before she picks up the children. So, here I am sitting in the food court after getting myself a chicken wrap, sat and ate. But before I got me chicken wrap, I visited the bookstore that is on one corner of the food court. To my surprise, they increased their manga collection and stock! Cool, no. Here are some pictures. There is one that isn't so clear, or is shaky. But oh well... I didn't take a picture of the whole collection though. Before, their collection only took two shelvesboard, now it's four and a table! Hahaha

One of the most interesting point for me, and almost got me to buy it, tempting, is that they had the latest volume of HunterXHunter! Like, for real. That's some good stuff there. Even if the mangaka took an indefinite hiatus, it's still great. I want it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will try save up some money, or get a part-time job. I will have to get a part-time job. Here's the volumes! Take notice of the 32nd volume with Ging on its side cover!
What do we have here? Shounen mangas on the lower shelf and the shoujo ones on top (+shounen too, hihihi). Skip Beat, One Piece, Otome, Fairy Tail, D.Gray Man, Slum Dunk, Vampire Knight, Reborn, Evangelion...
Oh, this one too! xxxHolic, La Corda D'Oro, Hana-Kimi! I'm not a fan of Toriko, so it's a meh for me. lol
The shaky pic one. The best part of this one is the Bakuman! They even had a full collection of it on the table, which I didn't take a picture of. Hehe but for others, there are Attack on Titan....
For the ones I didn't take pictures of... there was Naruto, Bleach, and some other mangas.

That's it for now. I have to go. Ja.
